Are you using embedded media in the AAF or linking to the original media?

OK, been testing all morning with your suggestions.
Importing the AAF from Resolve into Avid results in weirdness and error messages
every time. If I open the media tool and drag the clips into a bin it works.
When I use “Assist using clip names” in resolve, I get reel names that match the clip names
and those carry across into avid, but the return AAF into resolve doesn’t link to the original footage when prompted.
When I use “assist using reels names embedded in source clip” I don’t get any reel names in either Resolve or Avid, but the round trip seems to work well. So I guess I will go this route. In Avid, if I drag from the media tool instead of dragging the MDB file, the reel column stays blank instead of being filled with mob reel names.
BTW, I am using Symphony 6.04.
Has anybody tried any of this with version 8 of Avid?

    Embedded camera audio.
I discovered that this is a bug that was fixed in V11.
Upgraded to V11beta2 and so far – so good…

I just realized that the problem is not just on the exports, but is showing up on the playback of clips
directly in Resolve. I can’t believe that I am the only one having this issue with a popular camera like the F55?…

Yes, that is what I ended up doing.
It would be nice if TC burns would scale like the video…maybe version 11?
    Thanks

Never mind, figured it out – changed output pref to RGBA instead of 10 bit RGB.

I moved the whole project over to a RAID setup to see if the problem was
with the fibrechannel terrablock system, but no change.
Still multiple crashes and opening and closing projects takes forever.

8 bit photos – only about 150 total assets.
I have premiere set to use 20gigs of the available RAM.

“Is it growing slowly over time even if you do nothing?”
Not sure what you mean by this?
