I always set it to “same as project.”

yesterday I made an .omf and noticed it was going through
the cache folder on my system disk…that I don’t like.any issues I’m having now, I’m just dealing with

as a work around can you use the sony P2 utility?

In a support mail from aja, the person said i wasn’t booting
the 64-bit kernel, then I read the post where the adobe
rep refuted saying it doesn’t matter in os x. -
Davib, I was looking at budget CUDA cards as well.
It ended up just making a lot more sense to purchase
a PNY Quadro 4000 for mac. I paid $ 768 for it online.you might be able to get one for a bit less on ebay.

If your running snow leopard or lion, those are 64bit
capable o/s. Likely the reason they are running.Even the old G5 systems (I just sold two of recently) if
you look on the box it says 64-bit computer on it.The odd part is they aren’t in the system requirements minimum.

I don’t like the work area either.
I went to render out a specific section of a video
(had marked it in and out) and it was exporting the whole thing.it shouldn’t do that.
I suspect CS 6 will take care of that aspect.
Adobe has worked really hard to make it easier to use
for those of us coming from Avid / FCP -

2. I would encode it with:
Video: H.264 – bitrate 1500kbps, 2-pass vbr (make it 3000kbps if you do HD)
Audio: AAC – bitrate 128kbpsThese settings are basically the same for an iPad.
** NOTE make sure you don’t encode with any profile above 4 or it won’t play)
you might need to get your hands on the tablet to test or send them some test clips to ensure you get it right. I wouldn’t do it, then just send a file and expect it to play….it very well could, but you
never know. some android devices are rather picky about such things. -
