Mitch, when you imported the files, did you allow premiere the time
it needed to conform all the files, before you began editing?
(in the lower right below the volume level guages)It’s important to do nothing until that completes.
doing so can result in out of sync audio.

I’m on the mac version of AME CC.
Never seen this happen.

well, i just tried it for a project with CC version.
It doesn’t work very well at all unless you insert
a transcript to help it….which kinda blows, since
thats the whole point of premiere doing it for you.Ended up having to hand type the transcript.
fortunately the sequences were only a few minutes long.

is there a way to export a .scc caption file?

CS6 played it badly..dropping frames and very sluggish.
I’ve found CC plays it very smoothly…like any other footage.

I was trying to open them and encode to and from a usb drive.
copied to my RAID storage and problem is gone.

the multicam sequence is collapsed. you only see one video track and 2 audio tracks.
I doubt it’s going any slower because of accessing other clips (same as you pointed out)
you might try copying the contents of the edited sequence and pasting it into a new
sequence.then export and see if it takes less time. That was something I had to do occasionally
with cs 6 to get an export out. -
how do you mean conversion? export time? how long are the sequences?
ya sounds like you have a more than adequate screaming fast system.
I just realized you said CS 6. I know I had a few issues with CS 6
and multicam, but exporting times seemed reasonable.
