Panasonic p2 .mxf files that a client needs converted to .mpg files.

I drop them in AME CC (mac) and when I do add one at a time
or as a group, even though they all have unique names, it
is showing them as duplicates of others and the content is duplicated as well
    when I check the source.

Seems to do it even if I do them separately.

    example:

    I drop in a file called 001E4.mxf

then drop in 004RT.mxf, but ame renames it 001E4.mxf and the destination
file as 001E4_1.mpg If I look at it in the preset window preview it shows
as the same content as the first…but should be something else.

what in the world is causing that?

I did have an older version of Calibrated MXF installed, but
    removed it and rebooted…same problem.

I was trying to open them and encode to and from a usb drive.

copied to my RAID storage and problem is gone.
