Camera layers do not have opacity settings. You could create separate compositions, one for each camera, then place these in another comp and faded between them there. No need to render other than to speed rendering the final comp

Use a null, name it “Rotation Master” and parent the outer circles to the null.
Now with the rotation property for each image in the circle create an expression that reads as follows:
“-thisComp.layer(“Rotation Master”).rotation”
the minus sign reverses the rotation value of the rotation master.
Now Keyframe the Rotation Master Null rotation and you’re all set.

Simplest method to control the point of interest with a Null Object. That way you can control what the camera is looking at in the Active camera view.
Create a Null Object, make it 3D, reveal the position for the Null, reveal the Point of Interest for the Camera and alt+click (Macintosh; Option + Click) on the Point of interest and drag the pick whip to the Null position.
Now you can place the null where you want the camera to look.

You can always set a layers material options to not accept lights.
Select the layer and type aa (two “a”s to reveal the Material Options. Turn the layer’s accept lights to off. Or adjust how it responds to lights. -
You will need to precompose the masked or matted layer.

Mask or track matte the layer to be wiped using circular masks or a track matte with circles.
Then apply Card Wipe.

If ESC doesn’t work:
As After Effects reboots hold Command+Option+Shift (MAC) or Control+ Alt +Shift to reset the prefs. This will reset to application defaults.

perhaps you don’t want Caustics but a displacement map. Use the same water footage as a source displacement map for the logo layer.
