    For the rotation of each circle, make an expression: pickwhip the rotation to the rotation of the whole thing, but add *(-1) to it, so you are rotating opposite to the comp.

    Use a null, name it “Rotation Master” and parent the outer circles to the null.

    Now with the rotation property for each image in the circle create an expression that reads as follows:

    “-thisComp.layer(“Rotation Master”).rotation”

    the minus sign reverses the rotation value of the rotation master.

    Now Keyframe the Rotation Master Null rotation and you’re all set.

    didnt really understand the pickwick and expressions parts which your welcome to explain because although i have been afx’ing for 5 years the expressions pickwicks are all new to me….. but have managed to do it buy just doing the -1 on the images rotations so thankyou for that , cant believe i didnt think of that.
