card wipe but using circle inplace of rectangular pannels
is this possible?
in card wipe. wipe is achieved by flipping of rectangular panels. is it possible to change the shape of this rectangles to flipping circles? it probably won’t be a perfect wipe as there will be residue space btween the circles. but what i am trying to achieve is rows of circles flipping just the way the rectagles do in AE’s card wipe

Mask or track matte the layer to be wiped using circular masks or a track matte with circles.
Then apply Card Wipe.

You will need to precompose the masked or matted layer.
