Will do, have downloaded tsMuxer, it is Windows only and while I could launch BootCamp to test, I’ve transcoded to MPEG4 and will have an answer this afternoon.

Just found a Mac version online, will let you know if it is required for this project.

    Many thanks for your suggestions.

This was a curve ball emailed to me after I’d produced an approved HD format video for a client with the understanding that the delivery format was Blu-ray and Web.

You can also use expression controls to start and stop wiggle expressions, even ramp them up and down.

Use a slider control (or several) on a null object and link it to the wiggle’s frequency and amplitude values, then you can keyframe the sliders to start and stop the wiggle.

Scott, you’re experience with motion graphics dwarfs mine. I don’t know whether these will help, but there are a couple of things I’d try.

Since you’re on a Mac, does the Activity Monitor provide any clues to memory usage? Does AE crash? If so, does the crash reporter provide any clues?

Have you tried 1. Setting the Secret prefs to purge every x number of frames, 2. the old standby of resetting AE preferences.

I’d check the frame rate and the sampling rate of the audio. Check under the File > Interpret footage > Main.

This looks like classical rotoscoping, green screen won’t help you here. Its painstaking labour and a good dose of talent.

    Time remapping and hold keyframes.

Sound’s like a bad installation, you may need to un-install and re-install.

Alternately it might be a permissions issue since the error indicates that it could not rename a folder. Try fixing permissions first, if that fails, re-install.

The Adobe Forum may provide some answers.

After Effects is not an editing application, you’re far better off using iMovie for the edit and After Effects for effects, color grading work.

H264 is a long GOP format, it should be transcoded to an uncompressed format for After Effects. Search for “Dave’s Stock Answer #1” on this forum to learn more.
