Since Vimeo and YouTube use 720p. I would switch my camera settings to 720p, if that is your only output.
I would invest in the new Adobe Production Suite CS6. The Adobe Media Encoder has presets for Vimeo and YouTube. It’s really fast.
Final Cut is dead. Compressor is sluggish and outdated. It takes forever to encode. It mike take 20 minutes to an hour to transcode in Compressor and it only takes 5 minutes for the same transcode in Adobe Media Encoder.
It’s worth the investment and a huge time saver if you do this alot.

You can dynamically link your timeline to Encore. Encore is set up for either DVD or BluRay.

It’s best to do some test shots with both cameras to see what you get before committing one way or another.
Adobe Premier CS6 now has a “WARP” filter to address the rolling shutter issue with DSLR’s. You’ll get a lot of jello and rolling shutter on a bouncy car.
Keep your stabilization on your lens turned on.

You are always going to have better results with progressive. The only advantage of interlace is with fast action footage, such as sports.
You shouldn’t feel afraid of progressive. You won’t notice any difference when editing. When you have separate frames it allows for cleaner shots.

I’ve used the glidecam for many years and have been very happy. They have updated their vest. I actually use it without the vest, but of course you’ll have smoother shots with one.
You can buy a quick release plate from B&H. I use a Manfrotto. You’ll need one for each piece of equipment so you can quickly switch between your gear. I think my plate is the 531 Manfrotto.

I use the Bravo Pro II. It’s an older machine. Works great, but I have to buy their propriety ink cartridges, which are way over priced at $45 each.
Their new printers use Lexmark CMYK separate cartridges. I’m guessing you can go buy Lexmark cartridges at your local ink store, but I would call or email them first to confirm this.
Primera makes great machines. I also rarely do runs over 25 – 50.
I personally like having it in one machine. I just drop in the discs, start the machine, and go about my business….or to bed.
With a tower, you have to manually load the disc after each burn. It’s faster if you are going to be in the room the whole time.

Oh yeah, this is why you should stretch before a shoot. You never know when you’ll have to jump out of the way….: ) It’s funny now. Maybe you can do a depends commercial after this?

Was there more than one card in the camera? Sometimes the operator can accidentally press the button to switch cards and it will record on the 2nd card.
Yes, I will repeat the other post. Always copy the entire BPAV card to your drive and keep a copy for yourself. I just make a folder for the shoot and subfolders for each card with titles. Don’t change anything on the BPAV folder.
