Why not ingest a bit, insert on another tape and test?
(Make sure you got a larger bit, as the CC info can be on tape way before it’s on screen.)
If you got a client monitor that can do H/V delay, that might help.
(you should be able to see if there is something there)

Don’t let the ‘audio TC’ entry in XML fool you, that’s only metadata.
What Sync ‘n Link does is making XML to combine video and audio, based on metadata.

My apps do other things:
The first app. adds a QT TC channel to the files.
(That can be normal or AUX tc)
Then there is a second application that analyzes QT files and BWF files. If there is overlap in the TC, it will paste the BWF into the QT, so you have synced clips in FCP.

Keep in mind that there is no standard of reel names in BWF, so you must keep your material organised!
(Most of the time putting everything from one shooting day in a directory will work just fine.)

Yes, there is.
If the same generator is used, you can copy attributes from one title to the rest.
But if multiple generators are used, this will not work.

But, I’m currently updating my subtitler program, it is now able to import XML and extract all the subtitles, then you can export them to XML and have them all the same.
This is a bit similar to what TitleExchange Pro does.
I would like your project to test my app.

If it’s a one time gig, download Avid Mediacomposer.
It can do so, and now has a free 30 day trial.

There probably is other software as well, but nothing i can think of this fast.

But i wonder why it is needed. The only thing you gain is the start of the file. You could put that in the filename as well.

50 mbit and NOT uncompressed audio makes totally no sense to me,
as stereo uncompressed audio is only 1.44 mbit…

Half a frame?
Who cares? Half a frame is unnoticable on a music video.
If it’s playback, the talent is not able to do playback that accurate, so just move the clips untill they look sync as good as you can.
You can’t edit on half a frame. You can shift the sound as small as per sample, but i hardly think this is needed.

With this tool you can remove audio tracks in batch.
