I’m working on a final cut of a project which has had too many hands in it up til now, so the subtitles (it’s in several languages) are all different, some in outline text, some in reg text with drop shadow, some yellow, some white, different fonts, etc. Is there an easy way to make them all the same without re-doing each one? Thanks

    Thanks, Martha

    Yes, there is.
If the same generator is used, you can copy attributes from one title to the rest.
But if multiple generators are used, this will not work.

But, I’m currently updating my subtitler program, it is now able to import XML and extract all the subtitles, then you can export them to XML and have them all the same.
This is a bit similar to what TitleExchange Pro does.
I would like your project to test my app.
Could you mail me an XML from your show?
(if it’s to big, mail me and i’ll send you my dropbox)

How do you copy attributes? How do you copy the font selection, or the Drop shadow selection, or the tracking settings and then apply them to other titles?

    Thanks DMCG
