I have a large group of ProRes files (audio and video) that are going to be merged with audio recorded on a separate system from the camera. When I merge the clips in FCP, I end up with two extra channels of audio from the camera that are basically garbage.

If I process the clips with Compressor and set it to make video-only files (no audio), it wants to re-encode all the video. I don’t want to spend the time to do that.

What is the best way to get these clips to have no audio?

Go to my site (see below) and find the QtChange application.
    (No worries, it’s free…)

With this tool you can remove audio tracks in batch.

Make sure you know what you are doing, so test first on a few copies.
