You can copy/paste between projects.
And if you loose media, that depends on the way of deleting. Deleting a master clip won’t affect the other project, but deleting the media does…Bouke

Shift is already there…
(just try holding shift in the keyboard shortcuts window, and add your custom keystroke(s))I could add more, but the way it is now, with the option to have the numeric part for machine control, i don’t see the need to add some more. Why would you need more? Do you like to press two keys when one is sufficient?
More important (to me), did you try the windows or the mac version?

Bad quality has to do that you only have 4 colors.
One transparant,
One white title
One black outlineAnd here comes the only trick you can do: have the last color to be grey to have at least some anti-aliasing between the outline and the title.
If you have white only titles, it get’s better as you have two levels of anti aliasing to blend the title into the video. (but of course you only can leave out the border if you have lot’s of dark scenes)
Chris Linke has a nice plugin to do both. A link is on my site under the ‘links’ button.
If you have room to spare, do a second encode with open captions (rendered HQ titles in the video)

March 21, 2007 at 8:11 am in reply to: adding original audio cut to cut without matchframe?Export to EDL, video only.
Next, open the EDL in a text editor, change all ‘V’ to ‘A1A2’, re import with reconnecting to media.
Insert that audio only sequence in your original sequence and you’re done.hth

I agree that they’re not bad, but slightly overpriced.
Waht is bad is that he’s stealing ideas from some other developers…
Let’s say i don’t discuss new features in public fora anymore )-:Bouke

imho Avid Medialog sucks.
You cannot enter massive amounts of text fast, and you cannot type while controlling the video.
Also, you cannot put
returns
in your text…check out https://www.videotoolshed.com/?page=products&pID=24
to see what i think is handy…

March 19, 2007 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Logging Tools for Reality/Documentary productions?Or have a look at my logger.
The pc version is half decent, but some users have no machine control.
The mac version is a little behind, but mail me offlist and i’ll fix you up with the latest version.Strong point in this logger is that you can have massive amounts of text, and put TC’s in your comment fields
