Not to my knowledge, but can’t you make a macro to do so?
If this comes up very often, I could alter my macro appl. to wait for renders to be done before the next export.

You can do an offset in DVD SP, but only in one direction i think… If you need the other direction, add some more black before in the timeline, set a marker and make that your first play.
Or use SCC offset, download from the site below.
The free demo is very handy for getting the timing right.hth

I assume you need to have a 29.97 subtitle track, as the final video gets pulldown attached, thus playing at 29.97.

This is not true.
Subpictures can have 4 colors. Not exactly state of the art, but the two remaining colors can make for a decent looking subpicture.
Now the trick with matching is that you have to have both your ‘normal’ state and highlite both as subpicture, but with different mapping of the colors.Chris Linke has made quite a nice page (and a darn good photoshop plugin) about it.

A google search with BDN, subtitles, XML and Blu-ray (or combo’s) did not reveal anything.
How ‘standard’ is this then if there are no specs to be found easilly?Do you have a sample XML you could send me?

Last time i’ve installed i just followed whatever the installer told me to…
One thing that isn’t clearly stated, you have to have Avid running in the background in order to get output from AE…hth

And after that, you could remap them to your arrow keys (like i did as i was too addicted to it..)

Besides belle nuit there is also Subbits, with XML support for FCP

But no matter if you like Subbits or Belle-Nuit subtitler (trying to be as objective as possible here..)
there is a huge difference between subtitles and CC.
If you can get away with subtitles, go for it, as it is way cheaper and better looking than CCBouke

Beside Bill’s points, if you have room to spare you could always put open captions on a second stream.
Quality of the subtitles will improve massivly then.Bouke
