Possible to import 23.976 subtitle track to Encore?
Hey all,
I have a DVD with a 23.976 MPeg2. Since encore doesn’t recognize 23.976 as a framerate, the final DVD subtitles slowly swing out of sync. As I type I’m doing a pulldown on the original MP2 source, but in case there was a different or better method for this – thought I’d ask. In the past I’ve taken a 25FPS PAL source and pulled off a sub sync this way (the results were good).

I assume you need to have a 29.97 subtitle track, as the final video gets pulldown attached, thus playing at 29.97.

Update – on this project I imported the 23.976 subs, preview mode was off. But the final DVD played the track as it should –
