    Hi Guys,

I’m in the procress of creating subtitles for a Blu-ray project. Blu-ray (and more specifically, Sonic Scenarist HDMV)use the standardized BDN xml file format to parse subtitles combinded with PNG images. Now I could create the images in Photoshop manually (which is not that big of a deal, but a little tedious), so, I was wondering if any of you knew of a progam (perferably freeware) that is able to create subtitles to the BDN file format?

    Many Thanks,

    Brian Kayfitz

Are you using Scenarist? This might be a better question to ask them after spending all that money. 🙂

A google search with BDN, subtitles, XML and Blu-ray (or combo’s) did not reveal anything.
How ‘standard’ is this then if there are no specs to be found easilly?

Do you have a sample XML you could send me?

Why would you be looking for a freeware program after purchasing Scenarist BD for $50,000+?
