If you have them in a text generator, create a (perhaps title only) sequence XML (mind the correct XML version number) and you should be fine.

Just a laserprinter, or outsource to a decent digital printer. They have digital presses that can outperform any office printer, and if you give them a reasonable amount of work, it’s probably the same price. (Toner is very expensive for office printers)

‘true’ 16 : 9 video is 720 * 576 in Pal, non-square pixels
(same res as 4:3, other pixel aspect ration)
In the latest versions of Photoshop, you can set it to non-square 16:9 Pal.
Or, scale down the images in Photoshop to 720 x 576 before bringing them in DVD SP

This is normal. No way to get the system audio out.
Use a mixer and connect the computer output as well.

well, i’m from Europe too, and i’m about to cut a piece for a press conference as well as an EPK.
Stuff will arive on beta, and besides digibeta, the EPK will go out on a few beta’s as well.
(i must admit this is one of the last beta rigs in my city, but nevertheless. If it works, don’t fix it. And this shooter is quite happy with it.)

You should check the full list of differences, but for me important is that MC has more codecs, better slomo / speed up (blended), Spectramatte and Animatte.
But there is quite some price difference. Not important if you work with it on daily, but if you have more time than money…
And no, it does not do anything with photography.

Perhaps you have both OMF and MXF files.
Look on the external drive, if there are, copy BOTH OMFI mediafiles and Avid mediafiles.
