I Need a Really Fast Printer for DVD Box Labels
Our company is large and we produce a lot of DVDs. I have one person as my dedicated DVD creator. One thing that hangs him up is the printer for the DVD boxes. When a box label has a lot of ink on it, it can easily take 3-4 minutes for one label to print. It’s inkjet, and it’s not a cheap printer. But I need something infinitely faster. I need something that can print these things in less than a minute, even faster if possible. I’m not concerned about price because I’m losing money by not being able to create all the DVDs I need to each day. What’s the solution? Are there faster ink-jet printers? or do I need a laser printer? Can anyone suggest some really fast printers. Thanks.

Just a laserprinter, or outsource to a decent digital printer. They have digital presses that can outperform any office printer, and if you give them a reasonable amount of work, it’s probably the same price. (Toner is very expensive for office printers)
