So that is why when I use the codec I have loaded in to the MAC, I get problem with compressor.

I know I can send an animation file for the Avid. I guess there is no way to send a native file, right?

    Thanks for the help.

Okay I see what you arre saying. I mean are you placing the sequence onto a blacked tape, therefore you need to insert? Or, are you placing the sequence or part of the sequence onto the tap at a secific point?

Have you tried to insert the entire media and not using in-out points? I recall getting the same warning about 1 frame a while ago. I edit to an 1800. Can’t recall what the circumstances were at the moment. Is this the first attempt to layoff to tape through FCP? Did it work at any other time?

As I look at the title of the project, there is a -in the name. The title is KINGS NITE 6-05. I have had other projects with dates as such. Does the hyphen cause issues? I did try to save as and change the name leaving off the hyphen but no good. Actually it did change the name. The project now reads the new name but it won’t save. I can save the project with the original title to any other drive. I will try to make repairs as suggested.

    Thanks

Add a blur or mosaic over the face and say he/she wanted their identity withheld. lol

    sorry

If it is thin enough then do what is done with the clone tool in PS and add the same clip to the layer above. Grab some good pixels from above or below the thin line and place it ove the line. maybe you can hide enough of the line so that the viewer will never realize the issue.

These look great. Do any of them create the flicker effect? Don’t need for much film damage effect or aged sepia look. muted colors, a little stutter and a light flicker

[Craig Seeman] “Dress” it nice and send it to them, no note other than maybe “congrats and enjoy.” If they make negative comments THEN have an honest discussion with them and reconcile”

I think as the producer if you really feel that the work isn’t up to what you believe is your best or at least worth what you are charging, or if it doesn’t live up to what the couple saw from your demo, then you should offer a discount. Not sending a note or offer may not be the best idea. The happy couple may never say anything to you about the finished product. But then they may never say anything good to anyone else about recommending you.

[Walter Biscardi] “I just completed a corporate project where the D.P. insisted on shooting green screen with miniDV and then did a poor job of lighting the green screen”

Okay so add DV to bad lighting and you may have a challenge. Still a great product/.
