I’m using 10.4.11 and I can’t even get the program to run. Any suggestions?

For sake of not completely bashing MM…I use an Online(SD)/Offline(SD) with multiclips for music videos all the time:

1) Digitize tapes at SD NTSC, 10-bit Uncompressed
2) MM to DV
3) cut
4) MM and reconnect back to 10-bit Uncompressed

No problems…so, go figure with HD/SD.

Interesting point. However, my concern has more to do with the output mechanism rather than the down-convert.

Is it better to go analog component>>DVCAM or firewire>>DV25?

funny, i was just looking for it today too. was it never in Motion? can’t really say i’ve ever looked, but it would seem like a standard.

That’s what I figured and I’m trying to find a way to work around that. The problem is that ultimately the frame blending (…in this case optical flow) actually “blurs” the area that I’m not retiming because, as you stated, it applies to the entire layer.

Any thoughts?
