  • frame blending in retiming “behavior” parameters

Posted by Bob Roberts on September 19, 2007 at 3:40 pm

When I look at a clip under INSPECTOR>PROPERTIES>TIMING, I get a certain set of adjustable parameters including the type of frame blending used in retiming.

If I use a retiming behavior, I don’t get those same parameters under INSPECTOR>BEHAVIORS.

So my question is, if I use a retiming behavior, how can I define what type of frame blending method to use?

    Thanks in advance.

    Howdy,

The retiming behaviors respect the blending mode set on the layer.

That’s what I figured and I’m trying to find a way to work around that. The problem is that ultimately the frame blending (…in this case optical flow) actually “blurs” the area that I’m not retiming because, as you stated, it applies to the entire layer.

    Any thoughts?
