    [jeremy] “Once the file size reaches 4.2GB’s, it stops exporting”
    You need to tell people what kind of video you are exporting, also how the drive is formated, is it a external drive? If people know what you are doing and with what they maybe able to help, unfortunately the list owner wouldn’t hire a resident psychic to help with these questions

    The biterate used is also a product of the ammount of footage being encoded vs space, use a bitrate calculator to find the bitrate recommended for the size of the file being used, you maybe bumping against a ceiling.

  • [Zvi_Twersky] ” see a timecode and other stuff in the viewer”

    A timecode or a time/date code? both can be displayed on the cam, also the time/date code(data code) can be turned off on some cams when recording.

  • Have you tried playing the tape back on a cam to see it the code is on the tape?

    June 21, 2007 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Correct Export to DVD Settings?

    NTSC = 29.97 interlaced frames/sec
    For maximum compatibility a NTSC DVD should be 60i, to use 30p the DVD player should have progressive capability, if 30p is played to a normal crt tv it ends up interlaced anyway, to do 24p something has to be capable of doing a pulldown to view properly not saying that artifacts aren’t going to show up.

    June 19, 2007 at 10:10 am in reply to: AMD problems with Premiere?

    I’ll repeat the answer to the other thread:
    “As long as the processor is a AMD64 either single or dual core it has a SSE2 or better extension set which is what Ppro 2 requires.”

    I’ve got a seat of Ppro2 on a AMD64 X2 4800+ with a Asus A8NE with a PNY Quadro540, and 2gigs memory, I’ve got another on a Laptop that has a AMD Turion64 TL64 X2 all work with no problems.
