    OK, thanks.
I think I will give this Motion Builder thing a try.

That’s exactly the thing I am looking for.
Too bad it’s not available yet.

It’s very strange that there are no C4D plugins for this kind of job.
I think that this is a very important function. Especially for newbies like myself who can’t create a naturally waking biped on their own.

No, I haven’t heard of this thing.
Can it do auto-animation of the basic movements?

    Damn…
    This sucks big time.

    Thanks.
I was using “Render all frames” setting in the Output options.
Funny that it didn’t render anything but the first frame only.
Now I am manually setting the frame range, as you advised me, and it is working.
    Hmmm…

    Thanks for posting.
I just left the problematic pre-comp “as is”.
Never needed the Front view, so it was okay with me.

If I had to do sizing and tweaking in the Front View, that would have been a problem, though.

May I ask what the bad effect was?

    Hmmm…
I will try resetting the AE preference file.
I have never set any settings on my own, but maybe this can help.

How do I know if my footage is intraframe compressed?
I rendered it in AE and then re-imported it back in a new comp.
I’m trying to remember if I used JPEG-2000 or osme other codec that goes with QuickTime.

OK, I am starting to get more and more confident that it is Zaxwerks’es plugin “3D Invigorator” that is causing the troubles.

What can I do in this case except for send a bitching letter to Zaxwerks and get a long but useless answer about how my machine sucks?

I am using QuickTime files in my comp.
I think they are compressed in JPEG, but I am not sure.
They are large in size – 720 (HD?).

    Where is the preference folder?
    How do I remove it?

Thanks, I tried different formats and codecs and te render still crashes.
At one point I turned OpenGL off, but I had several new crashes and AE I kept showing me messages that OpenGL is screwed.
