Hi, I am new to Cinema 4D.
I created a small animation and i want to render it to video.
I seem not to be able to do so.
Tweaked the Output settings and told the program to export the rendered result as AVI, then as QuickTime movie, I also made sure to set it to “All frames”… nothing worked.

Is there any secret to rendering video in Cinema 4D that i am missing here?

Hi. Check the OUTPUT section in the Render Settings window.
Be sure you have the frames you want To-From correct.
Then a quick click on the RENDER IN PICTURE VIEWER button (middle clapboard looking icon thing) and it should start.

    Thanks.
I was using “Render all frames” setting in the Output options.
Funny that it didn’t render anything but the first frame only.
Now I am manually setting the frame range, as you advised me, and it is working.
    Hmmm…
