Yes, I do have K-Lite codec pack installed.
I checked that thread out and it said that I should remove K-lite codec pack and then reinstall my Adobe Software.
I may do this, but what should I replace the codecs from K-Lite with? -
The main elements are stills (jpg).
However, there are a QuickTime elements too and I think they are messing the layers underneath them, making them green.
Most of the QuickTime elements play OK in QuickTime Player, but some of them do not play at all and the program reports a missing CoreVideo.dll.
At the same time all QuickTime elements play just fine and without any problems in Media Player Classic, which does not report any missing dll files.
I installed the newest version of QuickTime and this did not help.I suspect the green problem could be caused by a blending mode issue in After Effects. The projects are made with an older version of AE and maybe CS5 is messing things up when it is converting them to its current version in order to use them.
But this is just a speculation.I am still trying to figure out what is causing the green problem.

Thanks, I won’t bother you anymore. I’ll just start experimenting until I come up with something useful.

Thanks for your replies, guys.
So basically I’m on the right track with the pre-render method?
That’s good news to hear.Is there a way to automatically pre-render the layers instead of manually pre-rendering them one by one?
There are tons of layers and manual render is pretty tedious.
I tried a script by RD that was supposed to automate the process but for some reason it didn’t do what I wanted.@ Eric Santiago, vector layers?
Are these the ones that contain shapes? I think they are not the ones that slow down the render because they are so simple, but who knows… I will try to pre-render them first to see if there is an increase in render speed. -
Wow, thanks for all the great info, Walter Soyka.
I guess I am happy with my setup for now but I will know how to do things in the future if there’s need for really super crisp and pristine video quality. -
Thanks, I will use this mthod for more important projects because it requires more time and I’m always trying to do things as fast as possible.
I just rendered my current 720 project directly from After Effects, using the settings that Angelo Lorenzo suggested.
It worked well. File was smaller than 45MB, so I may even up the bitrate to 16,000 kb/s. -
Hi, thanks for your reply.
I was just wondering which Render settings would produce best video at low size.
I will try your trick and see how it goes. -
I will check out and see how to do all of this, thanks.

Well, I don’t know about this.
I thought that ZBRush works fine with Cinema 4D under Windows. Not tat I have any experience with this, of course.
What are the advanages of using Mac OS in terms of ZB to C4D integration? -
Thanks for the reply.
I’m too new to this 3D technical stuff. I just want to sculpt in ZBrush and not care about anything.
Unfortunately, at one point or another one must face all those UVs, Normals, Nurbs, SSSs and all that crazy stuff.
