Hi, I am trying to animate a target camera but it will not stay steady in the space between two supposedly identical keyframes.
I am doing the camera animation all by hand – I’m not using a Spline or anything fancy as a guide for the camera.

    So, what I did was:
    – I set the camera’s target point (it never changes througought the whole animation)
    – Then I started moving forward in the timeline and moved the camera around while adding keyframes wherever I needed them
    – At one point I decided to hold the camera still. So, I moved forward in the timeline and added a new keyframe WITHOUT changing anything in the camera’s position, rotation, scale, etc. I just moved about 50 frames forward and added a keyframe there.

The problem is that the camera keeps moving slightly inbetween those two supposedly identical keyframes as if the second keyframe contains a small change of values (in reality it doesn’t, or it should not because nothing was changed).
It does not stay 100% steady.
I noticed in the Top view that the path of the camera has some sort of a loop where the still part should be.
I did not add it, seems to be some auto stuff that C4D applied there.

What is making the camera move between two identical in values keyframes?
How to make it stay steady?

    Thanks!

F-Curves are making the movement. Set the key frames so they don’t have easing that moves the camera.
You can do this in the timeline.
Or just right click on the camera in the object manager and select F-Curves.
