Render the project in small junks to AVI. Once the project rendering is complete, aka ‘all-junks = entire project’, render the pieces to whatever production format your aiming for. I usually name this project FinalRender.
Use markers to do this and in and out to set loops. When rendering select render looped region only.

Render the scenes to AVI versus nesting, it’s what I do and it works.
Cheers

I sure hope so cause the blurry world of ADCHD draft half-quality is getting old, heck if I can just get it to Draft FULL quality it’ll be worth it:-0

Download the program below and use it prior to rendering.
https://enditall.en.softonic.com/My experience (Kinda long): I have a dual core 3.2ghz with 2mb of ram running Vegas 8.C and have been working with AVCHD for several months now. I have given up rendering direct to WMV as well as rendering any projects with AVCHD content greater than 90-seconds in length to any format. I place markers at 30/60/90 second intervals and render to AVI. I have a separate veggie file to render the final product. It’s a pain in the arse. It has one silver lining though in that changes are easier to implement as you fix the small section and re-render. Even then the AVCHD render process isn’t bullet proof with failures common. Logging on and off helps with memory leaks which I’m certain 8.C. has based on my observations, aka running out of memory and investigating.
Slightly off topic… these render failures are maddening in that 8.C. positively SUCKS at saving copies of your work that you can easily recover without loss when you restart the program. Sans every single solitary version of Vegas I have owned other than 8.C. I never and I do mean NEVER lost any work prior to 8.C. I’m beginning to force myself to hit save every time I render. Why Vegas doesn’t simply save a backup copy every time you render is beyond my comprehension. Off my soapbox:-)

Workspace zoom is your friend, at least I think that’s the name in track motion and pan and zoom, I’m rendering a project and dare not open another instance:)

These types of services are starting to take off, so much so a recent contest I entered specified automated entries will be disqualified.
I’ve had people cry when the see what I do with their images, I think I’m still safe… for now:-)

As a current Vegas 8 user I have to say I’m stunningly disappointed in how little I have to gain moving up two revisions in Software. Owned vegas 3 loved the upgrade to 4. Waited until six, which was in my humble opinion the most comprehensive update ever. In the good old days of Sonic Foundry I’m certain I would be salivating at upgrading versus scratching my blank-blank in 3D
That’s my two cents – Cheers.

Shoot a cover-up shot of a man reaching for a towel and vigorously drying his face, all the while covering his identity. When you transition to the talking head piece he now has a reason for a dry face.

I set it to zero and use other methods to preview, most often just simply setting the preview monitor to a low setting (draft) and looping through the video. This has the added benefit of having the cursor at your finger tips.

Walla thanks much. I really like the added bonus of it threading the stills into one event, sweet:-)
