Whilst moving a still image sequence output from particle illusion in Vegas Pro 8 to the timeline I encountered an annoying issue, MANY gaps in the frames. Believe the cadence was two frames adjoining a gap two- frames adjoining…

Preferences were ‘new stills = .05’ and ‘overlap = no’.

Alas using Vegas 6 and the problem DISAPPEARS!

This brings me to two related questions.

    1) Any scripts out there to remove gaps on the timeline
    2) Any workarounds in Vegas Pro 8 for the above?

    Thanks Guys/Cows

If you’re using a still image sequence, why not go to File – Open, pick the first image, and check the box at the bottom that says “Still Image Sequence”? That will load them all on the timeline, one frame each, and treat them as a single event.

Walla thanks much. I really like the added bonus of it threading the stills into one event, sweet:-)
