was wondering if the titan is similarly going to help out with RAW formats like .ari files

how many GFX cards do you find you need for decoding and grading raw formats or is a single titan going to do that?

we had something similar last week on windows 7

fix was to right click desktop>personalise>change to windows 7 basic mode

basically it turns off all the fancy windows 7 transparency

as suggested for avid setup

it worked and the frame rate came back to normal in Resolve

I was convinced it wasnt the graphics cards as it was something conflicting with the blackmagic card being on as an output (i turned off the external out and it went full frame rate)

have a look at boris BCC effects they have a pixelfixer

you cant remap it

when pressing the shift keys press once, ignore the lights they dont mean anything, then press the buttons you want

on the artist panel the bank buttons are used as modifier keys for additional button options like the right and left shift

the mapping is ok, it really needs some sort of shuttle control to be as useful as it could be

I work with Pat
Its a Windows Resolve setup
We are finding the deck control not perfect few frames off in Media Composer and have relied on separate com port for that
Yet to get the blackmagic extreme card to work with anything except an old dv deck through 9pin

if in with old avid media files then you need to delete the 2 database files in that folder

thats a shame about the compound clip with duplicate and add to audition not working as it used to, that was a sweet feature

is there the do it in event and then add to project workaround?

also I found the project bloat to have gone when I did the chop the compound clip in the timeline and look at the project file size. be good to see if this has fixed the sluggishness I found on my older imac with projects with compound clips, think it will, very encouraging update!
