You cannot make RAID 3 (or RAID 5) in software. Only RAID 1 or RAID 0 can be made in softare.

The setting is Offline RT HD. Pick the framerate that matches your material.

A track on a DVD can only have one of two aspect ratios- 1.33 (4X3) or 1.78 (16X9). You’ll have to letter box your 2.37 footage within one of those formats. Personally, I’d go with the 1.78 & then set up the DVD to force letterboxing on 4X3 TVs. If you go with the 1.33, and it’s played on a widescreen TV, you could wind up with a letterbox inside of a pillar box.

Silhouette Roto is probably the best roto program available right now. There’s a demo available for download. If you have Shake, AE or Motion, you can do quite a lot of roto in any of them, as well.

I’ve been using Conduit from DV Garage in both FCP & Motion, & I’ve been getting pretty good keys in both. Some shots that have issues with the greenscreen need to be done in Motion, or in Shake where you have more control & better options to create garbage & core mattes.

How are your drives formatted with the Rocket Raid? Do you have them striped together? Most likey, you just need to have them formatted properly.
