Seriously, I wouldn’t want to be first either! I’m going to check in with AJA as soon as we can clear these projects off my system to get up to FCP 5.1.4 and the new OS.

I might give it a whirl on my older G5 PPC POwerMac later tonight, but I’m still keeping an eye on the Apple Discussions for both machines regarding the update. Gotta figure it’s the last version before Leopard, so there’s little room not to get it right.

In good news, it’s supposed to fix p2 transfer times over USB. Not sure what else it breaks…

Has anyone done the QT 7.1.5 update yet?

Not me. I did the FCP 5.1.3 update on my laptop. I will not be the guinea pig on this one.

Middle of a project…Kona hardware…no way.

We remedied that by using the P2 Genie…it does things right, copying over the TXT file first, then the CONTENTS folder.

And I haven’t touched QT.

This one I am leaving alone.
