The name of the codec is DVCPro HD 720p60. That includes the framerates 60p, 59.94p, 24p and 23.98p

if you have the keyframes visible in your timeline, press pp (the letter “p” 2X) and your mouse pointer will turn into a pen with a minus sign. That’s the tool to delete keyframes.

You don’t say how you’re monitoring your video. Yous hould have a PAL monitor hooked up to your system to check this kind of thing. If you don’t, then it’s possible that there’s nothing wrong with your video, and you’re just seeing the inherently low quality picture that FCP uses internally.

If you want your graphic as a tiff, you need to add an alpha channel to it in Photoshop before you save it.

My 1st guess is that this is a typical YUV vs RGB type of thing. Check your sequence settings, & toggle the YUV/RGB render & see if that changes anything.

First, you should use Photoshop to knock out the alphas for the logos & save the files in an alpha friendly format like .tif, .tga or .pct. That will save you a lot of trouble in your timeline.
You should also be aware that any heavily compressed codec will not be kind to grapics. It may take quite a bit of hit & miss testing to compress the video in a way that won’t look like ca-ca.

You’ll never be able to do this using ‘Capture Now’. This is what batch capturing is all about. Look it up in your FCP manual. If you logged your footage corectly, you should just be able to right click on a bunch of clips & select “Batch Capture” to re capture them.

I think you missed part of my point. I paid a lot less than you when you adjust for the exchange rate, because I sourced & assempled all of the pieces myself. And it’s probably exaclty the same case & card that you’re using.
BTW, I love the case. it’s whisper quiet. The card can be a bit wonky at times, but I don’t have any speed issues, even with 10 bit 720 footage (haven’t tried it with 1080, though). As long as I properly unmount & power down the RAID, it’s 100%. If I forget to do that, then it sometimes comes on with a drive missing, and as soon as I get it to see the drive, it starts to rebuild.

I have to tell you, your solution from Rentaraid looks remarkably like the RAID I built myself. It appears to be the same case, and while I don’t know which controller card they gave you, I’m betting it’s the same Rocket RAID that I’ve been using. It cost me around $2500 or so with 8 500 GB drives last fall. The prices on those drives has dropped, now, so it’s even cheaper now.
IMO, if they’re going to use the same off the shelf components as me, why should I pay them?

Sorry, not tga. If you need, you could always run the image sequence through Photoshop to make a tga sequence.
