Image Sequence: Progressive Output with interlaced footage
My client wants a TGA sequence that is progressive for a museum display. The footage is interlaced. What are my options guys? Deinterlacing the footage I think is my only option.

This is the kind of thing I run throught Compressor. In the filters tab, turn on delinterlace & set it to blur. That will blend the 2 fields together so that your not throwing away as much resolution.

Thanks, I’ll try that one. It’s got TIFF, not TGA, but I think it’ll do.

Sorry, not tga. If you need, you could always run the image sequence through Photoshop to make a tga sequence.
