December 19, 2005 at 9:52 am in reply to: arrow tips connected to sweep nurbsThat’s a typical job for XPresso or COFFEE as you can use it to transfere the position of the last spline point to the pyramid and use the tangent there to align the arrowhead to the direction of the spline curve.

December 2, 2005 at 12:01 pm in reply to: Editing one part of a UV without Body PaintHello,
is it possible for you to map a different material/texture to the top of the cube?
There is no way to work on the UVs of one part of the object without BP. Maybe you can split your object into several parts and map them separately?Kind regards,

Yes, there is, but as Adam already wrote, am main part of it is about the new tools of v7.
Here is the amazon.com link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0201731363/102-0579616-5321718?v=glance&n=283155&n=507846&s=books&v=glanceOr if this doesn’t work, just enter Cinema 4D as a search string at Amazon and scroll down a biit.

Well, you can use the Live Selection and use its radius to select points, edges or ppolygon. Just increse the radius value to change the size of the circle selection.
You cannot use a spline as a selection border, but the other selection tools come quite close.Kind regards,

October 19, 2005 at 8:17 am in reply to: Multiple objects to swarm and focus!Hi,
that is easy to do with particles. Do you have Thinking Particles for Cinema 4D?Kind regards,

I cannot see any problems by updating your v9.1 version directly.
If you don’t want to take this “risc”, just install the v9.1 from the disc and update it to v9.5.
As this will not delete your old v9.1 you will not loose anything.
After this you can copy over your customized layouts and plugins to the v9.5 folder.Kind regards,

It is hard to do this without specialized software such as image or 3D trackers. They analyse the movie and calculate a 3D camera from it. This can be imported to C4D and used to render out your 3D objects. A later compositing of the live action movie with the rendered movie should match perfectly then.

Sound like a clipping issue. Could it be that the dimensions of your objects are quite large?
Try to scale them down to dimensions in the 100-100000 m range and see if this changes anything.Kind regards,
