May 3, 2006 at 5:07 pm in reply to: Rendering more than one camera at the same timeIt depends on the kind of animation in your scene. One solution would be to offset the animations of all cameras so you can use the stage object to jump from one camera to the next and render it all out as a movie or an image sequence.

May 2, 2006 at 6:13 pm in reply to: Thinking Particles confusion repost to Bjorn MarlOK, it was worth a try 🙂
The setup looks ok to me. Nothing obvious to see. Maybe you can mail me the scene so I can have a closer look.Kind regards,

That’s why these nodes always show the last particle number.Kind regards,

Object motion blur AFAIK doesn’t work behind transparent objects (objects with alphas in their materials count to this group as well). Use Scene motion blur instead or do a compositing of the spinning wheels with the mask of the plane in post production.

That plugin is pretty old by now. Chances are high that it doesn’t work any more.
Maybe try to contact the prgrammer if there is an update available.Kind regards,

You cannot compare it directly. PhotoMatch has a camera calibration background and works pretty well for stills. The new tracking features are an add on, but cannot replace a feature packed motion/camera tracker software.
It depends on what you lan to do. If you place 3D object in images and if you have to track some simple setups from time to time, PhotoMatch is right for you. For more serious video tracking have a look at Syntheyes, PF Hoe or Boujou.Kind regards,

How are you using your background image/movie? Do you project it on a plane object or do you use a background object?

It depends on how you generated the gras. The new Hair module and hairdepartment can be influenced by deformers and have build in dynamics.
If you just used polygon objects for the gras, use the wind deformer with small amplitudes or even PLA. It depends on the size of your gras area what works best.Kind regards,

It should work this way. Maybe you have other compositing tags within the hierarchy of those objects, blocking the shadow information?

the new Content Browser is perfect for this. Use it to browse your texture files and store the search results.
You will already find a bunch of materials there, too, that comes with C4D.
For a start, have a look at https://www.noctua-graphics.de/deutsch/freetex_d.htm
You’ll find a large number of very good materials and shader setups there.Kind regards,
