What is a light probe?
All HDR images I have seen so fare are in cross or probe mode. Both can be converted within C4D.Kind regards,

August 10, 2006 at 2:06 pm in reply to: Global Illumination and Ambient OcclusionJust download the latest documentation PDFs from MAXON site so you dont have to thumb through the addendums.
Global Illumination is just a name change from Radiosity and Ambient Occlusion is similar to the Dirt shader you might already know. It just offers better antialiasing and more control over the direction of the rays. Beside within the Render Settings there is also a AO shader that can do the same thing but limited to a material and not the whole scene.Kind regards,

Hard to say. The grey color should disappear the moment you start painting on the object, but as you cannot paint…
What mode are you in? You should be in Point mode.Kind regards,

What Radiosity settings are you using? There is special mode for animations that could help to minimize the blotches effect.

Have you checked the frame rates used in the Project Settings and the Render Settings?

Have you checked the constrains? Make sure that the target objects of the left side are not identical with those on the right side (have a look inside the MOCCA IK Tags at Constrain>Goal).
Also take care that you fix the bones before you start animating. Some constrains rely on this fixation data.Kind regards,

Hi,
you can use the Include/Exclude list within the light object dialog to include/exclude objects from the light.
If iit’s just a problem of light passing through an object (such as a light outside of a room illuminating the inner room) you’ll have to activate shadows for that light.Kind regards,

It depends. Are the bones fixed while you add the new bone object?
You should unfix all bones first, add new bones and fix the complete bone hierarchy again afterwards.Kind regards,

Hi Florian,
Do you have Hair? There is a Spline Dynamics Tag that comes with it. You could use it and align Bones to the animated Spline.Kind regards,
