cable animation with bones!
hi guys … wanna do a cable animation with bones … look at the following file … thats what i wanna have, just with bones

all in all i will add a plug to the top of the cable … i just want to animate the plug and the cable should follow the right way … i’m also glad for total new recommandations … thanks so much!!!

Hi Florian,
Do you have Hair? There is a Spline Dynamics Tag that comes with it. You could use it and align Bones to the animated Spline.Kind regards,

hi arndt … thanks for your answer … yes i got hair … but the thing is that i dont want to animate the spline … i want to animate the plug which is attached on the top of the spline … then i want the spline to act like a real “cable” depending on the movement of the plug … is that even possible?
