Cinema 4D 7 book by Arndt
Would this be a good book to use with Cinema 4D XL6?
I have CE+, which is the same as XL6 from what I’ve been told.
I don’t want to purchase the book if it’s going to have alot of references to features I don’t have.
If it is a good book for XL6, I’d buy it asap before it’s no longer available.Thanks.

There is another book called the “Cinema 4D XL Handbook” by Adam Watkins for XL v.6 & v.7,
ISBN 1-58450-039-5, Charles River Media, comes with a CD. -
It’s a great book, but as I recall it does spend a fair amount of time on features you don’t have, e.g., radiosity and SLA shaders.

The only reference I’ve found for it is in German. Is there an English volume?

Yes, there is, but as Adam already wrote, am main part of it is about the new tools of v7.
