    Hold ALT and delete the audio part or mute by dragging the yellow volume line in the timeline down.

    Rightclick on the clip in the timeline and select Reveal in Project.
    Clip is now selected in the Project Window. Double click on this clip in the Project Window and it will open a fresh in the Source Monitor. Trim and ad to timeline.
    In short: if you want more instances from one clip you need to open it from the Project Window.

    Try animating the opacity see if that will work out better.

    Connect your camera to a hd tv and see how the footage looks.
    If it looks the same then you know its the camera and not the software.

    You can rename the project in the Windows Explorer.
    If you are not sure about all this then just save as.

  • It only has bitrate settings and that is all.
    If you want full controle you will have to buy the plugin.
    Have no idea what it’s default setting is.

    Premiere 6.0 is not very fond of compressed video like mpeg.
    Convert to dv-avi.

    MB is very CPU intensive, it should be the very last thing you add before rendering out to final.

    The only way to disable MB is to turn off the effect in the Effect Controls of every clip.
    For the entire timeline you can only remove effects in one go.
