Premiere Pro CS5 and the included Dolby plugin. No dialog normalization?
Hi, we got PP CS5 at work combined with a GTX 470 card and it rocks.
We mainly work with DV and HDV so our needs for sound output is stereo PCM for DVD and Dolby Stereo 448kbs for Blu Ray.
That’s why we didn’t buy the surcode plugin and use the Adobe’s incuded Dolby Digital output. But I am a bit worried about this. There are no settings for dialog normalization and dynamic compression (which we want to be -31 and “none” respectivelly as in the past we had some complaints about low sound volume from customers). So does anyone know if Adobe’s Dolby has the default settings (-27 and “film”) or it does not apply any normalization and compression at all (which I want)?
Or maybe does anyone know of a utility to analyze and show these kind of properties in an ac3 file so to test?
Thanks in advance
