June 15, 2013 at 11:27 am in reply to: Uninstall CS 6 or does CC update remove it?

By unstalling an older version there is a chance of damaging the newest installed version.
If you do not want CS6 uninstall first then install CC.
CS6 and CC happily run side by side.

June 13, 2013 at 3:12 pm in reply to: Any workaround for Audio Conforming Issues?

    You cannot turn off conforming.
It will only do that when you open the project for the first time.
It will take time and diskspace.

To avoid conforming, use audio editing software, or transcoding software, to convert your files to natively-supported uncompressed formats at the supported sampling rates.

June 12, 2013 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Adjustment layer – basic motion controls dont work

You need to apply an effect to the adjustment layer in order to see changes to the fixed effects.
Altering the fixed effects of an justment layer works but you wont see it as the adjustment layer is transparant.

June 12, 2013 at 6:52 pm in reply to: how to set a specific time code

Not quite sure what you are asking, but 2 options:
go to the flyout menu of the timeline and check Start Time.
You can set any time for the first frame.
    Or use the Timecode effect.

Or select the synced piece, right click and nest.
Drag this nest into the Source Monitor where you can cut several clips from and drop them in a new timeline.

June 5, 2013 at 1:08 pm in reply to: Keyboard Shortcut for Transform Position

The arrow key option is Premiere Pro CC only, not CS6.
There is no shortcut for selecting e.g. Motion in the Effect Controls Window.
If its the top clip you can select the clip by double clicking in the Program Window. Is it a clip that is below the top clip, you will have to select the clip on the timeline and then hit the tranform icon in the ECW. Then a boudingbox appears and you can drag the clip around.
