How do you expand the timeline in Effect Control in CS6
I need to put keyframes at the far beginning and far end of the clip. Is there a way to zoom out more in the provided timeline?
Usually what I do is make the area bigger than I need and put the keyframes there. Then I trim the ends as I need to.

Uncheck the Pin to Clip in the Panel Menu of the Effect Controls.

I believe you want to click the triangle next to property you want to animante. Then click the zoom in/out buttons on the bottom of the effects control panel. They should look like small/large mountains.
