    No you cannot use mts files in CF studio.
    CF studio is designed for GoPro files which are mp4.
    If you want to convert avchd to CF you need GoPro Cineform Studio PREMIUM.

  • If they were butted you could have used Apply default transition to selection.
    But as they are not you will have to select every edit point.
    Fastest way is to use shortcuts: Ctrl+D for adding default transition and Arrow up to go to the next editpoint.
    Set Constant Power to default transition and also set duration in the Preferences

    Your stills are quite large.
    If you are not panning and zooming make them the same framesize as the sequence before importing.

    The timeline says: no sequence.
    You have to make a sequence first.
    Go to file/new/sequence and pick a preset that matches the footage.
    But those are Lynda.com files, right?
    Open one of the projects in the exercise files.
