The dreaded “media pending”
A short project in CS4 – XDCam 1920X1080 that includes approx. two minutes of Mp4 video and 25 large .jpegs (3072×2034) that are panned and tilted using effects controls. Everything plays back correctly with a red line but when I try to render the project Mp4 video is fine but all the stills(two or three minutes)come up with the dreaded orange screen and Media Pending. At the lower right of the time line there is a red X which when clicked on says “This file is busy and cannot be updated.” When I delete all the rendered files the .jpegs are magically restored. Have tried re-downloading the original .jpegs to no avail. Any thoughts I’m at the end of mine.

Your stills are quite large.
If you are not panning and zooming make them the same framesize as the sequence before importing.———————————————–

The problem is without simulated camera moves on the stills it is just a slide show. I’m not trying to replicate Ken Burns but even if I do a test with four or five stills with minimum movement and some just resizing for the 16×9 ratio still get the same problem. I tried to read the threads on other people’s questions about trying to import various formats into PrPro. The program just doesn’t seem to see the rendered files.I have cleaned cache and done other suggestions to no avail.
