In the Config/Source tab you can choose Camera, Absolute or Edge Code.

    Here is the link: https://www.michaelcinquin.com/tools/subtitles/srt_to_fcp
For some reason it was broken in previous post…
I think there is also Excel workflow there: https://www.michaelcinquin.com/tools/subtitles/import_subtitle

I’ve found it in my archives, and uploaded to sendspace.

IMO it’s very mean what Apple did to us. Honestly, i don’t care is it legal to share this update or not.

June 14, 2011 at 4:24 pm in reply to: Resolve 7.1.2 won’t start

[Bastiaan Houtkooper NSC] “Do you have the dongle plugged straight into the machine or via a USB hub? Had some troubles with that before…”
Bastiaan, the dongle plugged directly into one of the USB ports (on the back side of Mac)

[Brandon Thomas] “I’ve run into this issue. I think it’s being caused by FCP controlling the decklink. If i quit FCP, I can start Resolve again fine.”
Brandon, no, the FCP is closed when i’m trying to start Resolve.

Generally the problem just happens time to time.
Sometimes i can run Resolve and FCP simultaneously (with FCP Video Out turned off), sometimes i just can’t start Resolve alone.

Hmmm, for me it never happens on the fresh booted system, only after several hours of work. Mostly when i work in Resolve, then close it and work in FCP, then Resolve again. I’ve tried to replug the dongle, but this doesn’t help. Only reboot or relogin.

  • MacPro early 2008 8-core 2.8GHz
    Slot 1 – NVIDIA Quadro 4000
    Slot 2 – NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Slot 3 – Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme 3D
    Slot 4 – Areca ARC-1222 RAID Card
    Mac OS X 10.6.7
    Blackmagic Drivers 7.9.2
    CUDA Driver 3.2.17
    GPU Driver 1.3.4.0 (256.01.00f03)

    Works like charm!

Maybe you should try not to mix NVIDIA and ATI cards, but use another NVIDIA card for GUI (maybe you have spare to try with it)?
Also try the usual troubleshooting steps, like removing all other cards, all but two memory modules etc.

  • You don’t have to add tracks to find source label. Just click the [V1] button, and it will stick active source to this track.
