Just out of curiosity. When you have a controlpanel to work with Resolve. How does Black Magic Design ad new features to the panel? Lets say the the new curves. Can you drive that from the panel or do do you have to rely on the mouse or wacom?

We implemented the Resolve control surface menus and controls for curves grading, RGB mixer, NR, RED and ARRI source settings and a number of new shortcuts into the Resolve 8 release and so the panel will automatically have these new features when Resolve 8 runs.

But what about WAVE, will it be updated for the new features?

Yes it hasn’t changed much over the various versions. I would kill for a mouse ball mode. and also the ability to do width adjustments on other power windows other then CPW.
I really hate having to scoot over to the interface with the pen so much.
    Too much back and forth.
