    You couold also create a sample of your “randomness” for like 2 seconds and then apply a loop expression.

    by putting this into the parameter after creating your keyframes
    loopOut=(“Cycle”)

    you can also save this to a effects preset and use it over o’er

    Well if your using after effects, Why not use “keylight” to create your matte?
    This plug-in is far superior and should work well without too much tweaking.

    Another good technique is to apply some grain removal to your footage to eleminate some of the artifacting.

    good luck

    Negative. I don’t believe this is possible with the plug-in. Also I can’t think of a way you could create a depth matte either.

    I just tried it. The PNG Sequence does work also and depending on your situation they are much smaller file sizes than TGA. ALthough both work well.

    If you have access to a good car mount line something up like a mirror or a window a central point to morph around.
    a good idea also might be to shoot in front of a green screen then you can add a new background reflections and shadows and the background would stay exactly the same. you could film a wheel moviing and composite it on top. for motion

    A glass as in a drinking device. Perhaps you could be more specific.
    A good way to generate reflection is using transfer modes of your reflection layer.
    For example take a sky and mask it over your subject and change the transfer mode to screen or one similar. You should be able to create some interesting effects.

    Basically what I was suggesting is you have a wall on the right and a person on the left walking to the wall for example. Make a freeze frame of the shot where the right wall is not obscured. Then overlay that over the footage with a linear wipe and a feather that cuts off just about where he intercects the wall and then his plate should seem to disappear underneath the piece of wall.

    It’s not ILM but it should get you started.

    Does this make sense?
    Andrew

  • Not sure but you can make a guide layer and use the layer maker by pushing the star key on the keyboard. You can also add notes to these markers.
