    Heres a question to expression gurus.I am trying to create the stylized look (often used in xtreme sports spots) where glows or rays pulse in a random manner over logos or text. I have used both wiggle and random applied to intensity or glow size and such. It works great, but I want the pules to sometimes happen in short unpreditable bursts of time, instead of constant pulsing. I did create a pulsing track (over the logo) then split the layer many times, but thought there must be an expression for this kind of randomness over time. What are your suggestions.

    You couold also create a sample of your “randomness” for like 2 seconds and then apply a loop expression.

    by putting this into the parameter after creating your keyframes
    loopOut=(“Cycle”)

    you can also save this to a effects preset and use it over o’er

    Thanks for responding. I have no keyframes, just an expression (random or wiggle) on a glow intesity or ray length parameter. Could you elaborate by showing me what the full expression would look like?
