    You can download Avid codecs and export as Avid files from FCP. Just download the “free for 30 day media composer” and install. Select the Avid codec of your choice and export.

    Same problem here. Pretty consistent. I works fine when you export at the full frame size but if you use 320×240 it will not do it.

    I have flip4mac but forgot to register the SN#. Once I did that everything worked great. You should be ok if you maintain full size without f4M.

    They are usually from leasing companies. They require a statement that they are in working order. Both Intel Macs are working perfectly. Tons of them on ebay. Macs are easy to fix. replace whatever is broke.

    It’s actually an in studio, 3 camera iso. I’ll be importing direct from a Sony XDCam drive and doing a multi-camera edit.

    Sounds like importing in an SD project would be my best bet.

    The hardware settings seem to change automatically to mojo when it is connected and back to 1394 when disconnected. The audio project settings for hardware cannot be changed manually.
