So don’t commit. If you need to use it for 30 days buy it. If you don’t…skip it….
just uncheck the auto re-new box.
the value is better if you commit for a longer period…but you can go per 30 day period if you wish.
so now what you are talking $49 vs….$2000?
that’s all I’ll say on the subject…
not trying to be difficult…some ppl overlook this…

I know that you can set the project panel to use the speech transcription metadata when sifting with the search field. So maybe this will help….

My guess is that this would happen in the project panel….
once u have imported some marked up clps….
if you open the menu to add and remove metadata columns in the project panel….
is there any listed schema entries that might include you marker info?
it should be able to…
then it ought to respond to sifting via the search field…

I would take a look at the After Effects plug in called “Comps from Spreadsheet”

I think the basis of what you need to automate is there….
but I think you need to talk to the developer….
maybe he can guide you…or will do some custom code for ya….dunno…
but AE and it’s scripting capabilities are likely where this will happen…..that would be my guess…

do you need both channels or just one or the other?
if only one or the other….
you should be able to use the “fill left” or “fill right” effects found in the effects folders…

you have to set the search param in the project panel from all metadata to only what’s shown in the project panel….

ok so to resolve THAT….
you will notice that the search field has a couple of options…
one is to search all METADATA
the other is to search ONLY metadata that is shown in the project panel
to use that properly….you need to customize the metadata columns shown in the project panel so that you don’t run into the conflicts you are having….
SOOOoo…
in the upper right corner of the project panel is a context menu…
one of the options allows you to customize matadata…
if you select that you can create a custom metadata setup expose more or less columns in your view….you can make a preset for “rushes”
then with that preset view enabled AND looking only in one bin
you can refine the search the way you want…

oops sorry…
use the search field like you started with.
BUT double click and open the bin first…(it will open in it’s own window or own tab of project panel)…
then use the search field for that bin….then it will only search those items in that BIN…

If you use something like an MXO2LE from matrox you can capture SDI to a high quality,low bandwidth MPEG2-I frame codec.
this wouldn’t require a big hard drive upgrade.
